DIF (along with the European Broadcasting Union) created and is managing the Forum for Advanced Media in Europe (FAME), the successor to European High Definition Forum (EHDF)
The European High Definition Forum (EHDF) was established, with the support of the European Commission's services, to bring together European, national and international stakeholders who are actively involved in developing and deploying HDTV in Europe.Following the success of EHDF, stakeholders welcomed the decision to continue to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the context of advanced media, including connected TV, 3-D and UHDTV
